Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for men and women. Good Samaritan can help you understand your risk, which is the first step toward prevention. Our team of cardiologists, radiologists and technologists are highly-trained to analyze your tests and help you understand your risk. Our vascular screenings are offered once monthly.
Vascular Disease is a serious condition which affects the circulation of blood flow within the arteries and veins. If not treated, vascular disease can lead to serious health issues such as amputation, stroke, aneurysm, or even death.
• Stroke screening (carotid artery ultrasound) Screens for possible narrowing and blockages of the carotid arteries, the main arteries in the neck that supply blood to the brain. - $23
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm screening (AAA ultrasound) Screens for an aneurysm, a bulge or weakness in the aorta, the major blood vessel in the abdomen. - $23
• Peripheral Artery Disease screening (PAD) Screens for blockages and plaque buildup in the legs, which is linked to cardiovascular disease. Deposits of plaque in the large arteries of the legs can block the blood supply to the legs, resulting in pain with walking (claudication). - $23
