Throughout the year, Good Samaritan offers five-week prenatal classes to prepare you for childbirth and infant feeding, with an emphasis on breastfeeding. They are designed to be taken in your sixth or seventh month of pregnancy. Your instructors will be registered nurses from the Good Samaritan Birthing Center. Classes meet one night a week for five weeks. They run from 6 to 8 p.m. (Vincennes time).

Class 1: Third-trimester education with relaxation, breathing, and stretching exercises with unit tour
Class 2: Labor and Delivery with pain management options
Class 3: Postpartum
Class 4: All about your newborn
Class 5: Breastfeeding Education with Lactation Consultant
Please be sure to bring a pillow to class
Classes are $10, which covers a course handbook that you can keep.
