About William
Dr. William Collyer is a urologic surgeon with a special interest and extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery for kidney cancer and prostate cancer. He also treats kidney stones, hematuria, BPH and other general urologic conditions.
He has performed over 1000 robotic assisted laparoscopic surgeries including:
- Partial and radical nephrectomy for kidney cancer
- Radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer
- Adrenalectomy for adrenal tumors
- Nephroureterectomy for ureteral cancer
- Pyeloplasty for UPJ obstruction
After graduating from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1999, he completed residency training at Washington University in St Louis and Barnes-Jewish Hospital in 2005. He is excited to work at Good Samaritan, a community hospital that provides quality, patient centered care to Vincennes and its surrounding area in a caring, collegial environment. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, family, and friends. His hobbies include music, art, and pickleball.
