About Martha

Martha coming to us from Lincoln has worn many hats in her career and had life disrupted by more than one hurricane (Katrina and Maria). She obtained a master's in organizational sciences and management and has worked as a foreign language and ballet instructor, as a consultant for the federal government in the Department of Health and Human Resources and Homeland security, and even as an actor and voiceover artist. She has lived in DC, Chicago, Louisiana, and Tennessee. She found her passion for psychiatry however in medical school and an even greater passion for child and adult addiction work. She enjoys following the news and current events, practicing and learning foreign languages, traveling, learning about different cultures, meditation, dancing, and exercising. Her desire to return to the Midwest for residency (and maybe avoid more hurricanes) is certainly our gain.
