About Marcos

Marcos is from Sao Paulo in Brazil and earned his BS in Biology at Lindenwood University in Missouri. Being born and raised in Brazil before moving to the US at fifteen, he was fortunate to experience two very different cultures and healthcare systems. Before medical school, he gained prior experience as an ER scribe. Marcos was involved in several extracurricular organizations while at Ross University, including health clinics and skills tutorials sponsored by memberships in the Surgery Club, Emergency Medicine Club, and Psychiatry Club. Marcos maintained balance by participating in several intramural sports teams. He used his beloved hobby, soccer, to learn about the true essence of teamwork.
