About Laura

Born in Ohio and raised in Shelbyville, Kentucky, Laura pursued her education at the University of Louisville and La Salle University in Philadelphia before specializing in anesthesia at Case Western Reserve University. Inspired by her own experiences with chronic pain and the impactful care she received, Laura chose a career in anesthesia to provide comfort and expert care to her patients. She works at Good Samaritan, drawn by its community-focused values, and approaches each patient with the motto of being their "best friend for the day," ensuring they receive the best care possible. Outside work, Laura enjoys yoga, nature, and spending time with her dog, Jojo. Her guiding health philosophy is to focus on wellness to avoid illness.
