About Kimlong

Kimlong received an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Stony Brook University. He
then graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed a podiatry
residency. He grew up in Cambodia and came to the US alone to attend college. He enjoys
running and working out. Kimlong loves to travel and has been to different parts of North
America, Italy, Columbia, and Southeast Asia. “I would like to visit as many wonders of the
world, as I can and try their food.” He likes to swim, play soccer, tennis, ping pong, and pool.
He volunteered at the New York American Diabetes Association Expo where he provided
complimentary diabetes foot screening services. He became a mentor for new first-year
students to help guide them through experiences and mistakes.
