About Cody

Cody grew up in Mendon. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Olivet College in Olivet, Michigan. Cody has gone from a small-town kid in middle America to someone who has lived in two different countries and flown for the first time. He went to England for a year and completed 5 rotations there. This experience allowed him to learn how a socialized healthcare system operates. Prior to medical school, Cody worked as a Nursing Assistant for three years. During this time, he completed activities of daily living for elderly patients with dementia. Cody has played football for most of his life and credits this for teaching him about teamwork. He loves the outdoors and plays pick-up basketball when he can.
