About Ben

Ben House is a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant at Good Samaritan, bringing a strong educational background and a passion for patient care to the team. Hailing from southeastern Iowa, Ben completed his undergraduate studies at William Penn University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. His journey in medicine continued at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, where he obtained his Master's in Anesthesia.

Ben chose anesthesia as his specialty during his college years, captivated by its dynamic environment that perfectly blends critical thinking with hands-on skills. This field allows him to assist patients on some of their most vulnerable days, providing a fulfilling and impactful career. Ben is committed to presenting himself with compassion and professionalism, aiming to make patients feel at ease and well-informed about their procedures.

Outside of his professional life, Ben is an avid sports enthusiast. Whether it's playing, watching, or simply enjoying the outdoors, sports are a significant part of his leisure time.
