About Aimee
Dr. Aimee Borazanci, MD, is a distinguished neurologist who has recently joined the team at RBI to deliver comprehensive neurology services at Good Samaritan. Her expertise significantly contributes to the mission of expanding neurology services within the community and beyond. Dr. Borazanci is board‐certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
In addition to her commitment to RBI, Dr. Borazanci continues to serve as medical director the Multiple Sclerosis Program, director of the Neuro-Immunology and Multiple Sclerosis Fellowship Program, and an associate professor in the Department of Neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute. She is a fellowship-trained multiple sclerosis (MS) specialist who received her medical school, residency, and fellowship training at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. After finishing her training, she built a large clinical practice in Shreveport specializing in the treatment of patients with MS and other neurological disorders. Dr. Borazanci has published articles in peer-reviewed journals on numerous diseases affecting the nervous system, including a comprehensive review of the clinical features, pathophysiology, neuroimaging, and future therapies for MS. In addition to her interest in MS, Dr. Borazanci’s experience includes treatment of the full spectrum of neurologic disorders. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology as well as the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers.
As an active investigator in numerous clinical trials, Dr. Borazanci is dedicated to the development of new therapies and the provision of comprehensive care for patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Her commitment extends to educating patients and their families, aiming to enhance their quality of life through increased understanding and better disease management.
