Good Samaritan Offering Women’s Wellness Fair

Good Samaritan is offering a Women’s Wellness Fair this June. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 3 at Highland Woods Community Center in Vincennes from 7 to 10 a.m. and again from 4 to 6 p.m. (EST).

To participate in this year’s event, women must make an appointment online at gshvin.org/wellnessfair or by calling 812-885-3336. Registrations will be accepted until May 23. The free health screenings will include blood pressure, pulse oximetry, non-invasive iron check, bone density, colorectal take-home kits and a lab draw that will test blood sugar, cholesterol (LDL and HDL), and glomerular filtration rate (kidney function). Fasting for 10 to 12 hours before these screenings is recommended, but not required.

Different department booths will be available such as: Rehabilitation Center, Perinatal Services, Breast Care Center, Trauma, MyChart and more.
