Good Samaritan to Host Indiana Parkinson Foundation Educational Event

Good Samaritan to Host Indiana Parkinson Foundation Educational Event

Good Samaritan will host a special Parkinson’s educational event on Friday, September 20 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (EST). Good Samaritan has partnered with the Indiana Parkinson Foundation and Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. to provide this educational event. This event is for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.

“We are truly honored to host this event,” stated Joy Uy, Good Samaritan Senior Therapist (PT/OT), Rehabilitation Physical Therapy. “At Good Samaritan, we are dedicated to improving the lives of those diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.”

This educational event is one of the most valuable services offered by the Indiana Parkinson Foundation. These events provide important resources so that patients are well-informed and educated on what is available to the Parkinson’s community. This event will allow attendees to engage with neurologist, Dr. Jessica Hedeman and patient advocates. It will also include a short exercise segment and a panel discussion.

The event will take place at the Charles C. Hedde, MD Health Education Center at Good Samaritan located at 520 S. Seventh St., Vincennes, IN 47591. The event is free to attend and lunch will be provided. Attendees should register at https://bit.ly/47dsXQg or call 317.550.5648. Registration is required by September 16 to determine the number of meals needed. If you have any questions, please contact Joy Uy at 812.885.3601.
