Good Samaritan Welcomes First Baby of 2024

Good Samaritan welcomed its first baby of 2024 on Tuesday, January 2. Shawn Andre Raber was the first baby to make his debut to the world at 4:37 p.m. on the Good Samaritan Obstetrics Unit. Shawn weighed 8 pounds and 7 ounces and was 20 inches long. His parents are Ivan and Katherine Raber of Montgomery, Indiana. Shawn will be welcomed home by his older brother. To congratulate the couple, the hospital presented them with a large basket of baby essentials and a gift from the hospital gift shop.
