Good Samaritan Foundation Nurse Signing Ceremony

Good Samaritan Foundation is excited to announce the four recipients of the Good Samaritan Foundation Nursing Scholarship. The recipients of this $10,000 nursing scholarship for the 2022-2023 academic year are:

• Sydney Willey from Kendallville, Indiana. Sydney will graduate in May 2023 from Indiana State University with a BSN.
• Kennedy Bilskie from Vincennes, Indiana. Kennedy will graduate in May 2023 from Vincennes University with an ASN.
• Krista Hemrich from Flat Rock, Illinois. Krista will graduate in May 2023 from Illinois Eastern Community College with an ASN.
• James Iglehart from Olney, Illinois. James will graduate in May 2023 from Olney Central College with an ASN.

The vision of this scholarship program is to identify and cultivate the next generation of nursing leaders within our community. Funded by Good Samaritan Foundation, this nursing scholarship is awarded at the beginning of the student’s final year of nursing education, and is intended to support future nursing leaders as they achieve their educational objectives, nursing licensure and career goals in nursing at Good Samaritan.

This scholarship not only enriches our hospital, but it has also attracted talent from around our region to come to Vincennes and to see what our community has to offer.”

The 2022-2023 Nursing Scholarship Signing Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 13 at 1 p.m. EST in the Charles C. Hedde, MD Health Education Center at 520 South Seventh Street in Vincennes, IN. Please RSVP by contacting the Good Samaritan Foundation at (812) 885-3377.
