Good Samaritan Hospice Hosting Spring Memorial Service

The caregivers and volunteers at Good Samaritan Hospice are organizing their annual Spring Memorial Service for family members of patients they have served in the last year. This service will be on Monday, May 2 at Good Samaritan Hospice located at 601 S. Ninth Street in Vincennes, IN 47591 at 6:30 p.m. (ET).

The memorial service will include a candlelight vigil, prayers, songs and a reading of names of those that have passed.

“This event each year is a time to remember and a time to gather as a community,” said Jane Russell, Director of Hospice. “Death ends a life, not a relationship. A memorial service can help family and friends search for meaning after the loss of a loved one.”

Those that wish to have their loved one’s name read and / or to RSVP for the service, can call Good Samaritan Hospice at 812-885-8035 by April 29. Members do not have to be present to have name read. The service will be held outdoors, weather permitting, and light snacks will be served immediately following the service.
