General Visitation Policy

Good Samaritan Hospital has a patient-centered visitation policy with guidelines to protect your loved one's health, safety and confidentiality. General guidelines apply to all areas of the hospital and are listed below. For a complete list of hospital guidelines, download the attached PDF or ask your nurse.

  • When Visiting Good Samaritan Hospital:
  • ­ Always use the hand sanitizer before entering or leaving patient rooms
  • ­ Never awaken a sleeping patient
  • ­ To protect patient privacy, a code number is assigned to each patient upon admission. You will need to know this number in order to obtain information about your loved one over the phone. Families are encouraged to appoint one spokesperson to relay information.
